The East German Mot-Schützen Kompanie is backed up by a platoon of six belt-fed PKM machine-guns, as well as AGS-17 30mm grenade launchers, all mounted in BMPs. The BTR-60 Mot-Schützen Kompanie(Motorisiertes Schützen Kompanie, or Motorised Rifle Company) shares much of its organisation with their BMP mounted comrades. Because their BTR-60 (or Schützenpanzerwagen-60, SPW-60, in German) did not mount an antitank missile like the BMPs, a group of AT-4 Spigot anti-tank missiles on ground mounts was allocated to each company.
