RARE Antique M.T. Sheahan "Framed" Postcard | Little Girl with Kitten and Puppy | Mounted Under Glass 8.5"x6.5" | Bixley Shop

This precious little girl appears to have her hands full with a kitten in one hand a a toy balanced in the other, not too mention the curious puppy who's headed her way! This is an M.T. Sheahan framed postcard from the early 1900s. It's marked M.T. Sheahan Art Publisher Boston. M.T. Sheahan was a publisher of quality in the early 1900s. We can't tell the exact date without taking this apart and we chose not to do that as it would disturb the original framing. The card is mounted on what appears to be mat board then backed with a thin sheet oof wood. There isn't really a traditional frame, instead the glass and board are held together with a matte black tape. The tape is cracking ion a few places, so restoration is recommended
