• 100% Waterproof - Micro-Porous TPU Membrane, Not PVC: A thin micro-porous TPU membrane laminated to the underside of the cotton surface provides 100% waterproof protection against spills, perspiration, urine, pet accidents, and stains. Unlike PVC or vinyl-backed protectors, this TPU membrane is micro-porous - it blocks liquid while allowing moisture vapour to pass through, reducing heat build-up. TPU is also free from phthalates, requires less energy to produce than PVC, and can be disposed of at standard waste treatment facilities.

After the first wash, the cotton surface becomes noticeably softer and the protector conforms more naturally to the mattress. For maximum longevity: wash monthly or after any spill event, always tumble dry low, and store flat or loosely rolled - never compressed. The organic cotton surface softens with each wash.
